2020 was a difficult year, to say the least, and it’s no big secret that a lot of us are rooting for it to come to an end.
Nonetheless, a lot of amazing things happened this year while serving my clients and, if you’ll indulge me, I’d like to take a moment to share them with you.
Niagara Association of Realtors: 6th Annual NAR Awards
Due to COVID-19, the awards gala itself ended up being postponed then canceled.
Nonetheless, early in the year, I was nominated by my peers in three different award categories:
Unfortunately, I didn’t end up winning in any of these categories. Still, just to be nominated out of more than 1,600 active Niagara Region agents was quite an honor.
RE/MAX Niagara Realty: 2019 Award Winners
Late last spring, my brokerage (approx. 160 agents strong) announced the winners of its various annual awards for 2019…and I had the good fortune of winning in two different categories!
This was an exciting moment.
Q1 & Q2 Sales Performance: #98 (Top 6%)
Announced by my brokerage (and based on data provided by the Niagara Association of Realtors), I was among the top 100 agents in Niagara Region for the first half of 2020.
That put me in the top 6 percent of all Niagara Region agents.
At the time I am writing this, the year isn’t over. It’s anyone’s guess who will be among the top 100 Niagara Region agents for all of 2020.
18 Deals Closed in 2020
In a typical calendar year, the average Niagara agent is involved in (approx.) 4-5 transactions.
In my first full calendar year selling real estate (2020), I am proud to share that I was involved in 18 residential transactions — 11 times representing the seller and 7 times representing the buyer.
Here is a look back at each of those 18 transactions (click on any image to enlarge it):
Added together, these transactions mean that, sometime early next year, RE/MAX Niagara will recognize me for hitting the RE/MAX 100% Club in 2020. I also have a very realistic shot at taking home Rookie of the Year for 2020, too. Time will tell.
To my clients, teammates, and peers, I sincerely want to thank you for your trust, encouragement, and support in 2020. It means the world to me, and I truly believe the best is yet to come.
Now, who else is ready for 2021 to arrive?
