Yesterday, I organized a bottle drive in support of frontline healthcare workers at Douglas Memorial Hospital, which raised a total of $765. Special thanks to The Beer Store for (safely) facilitating our returns and to everyone who donated their empties.

Between 10 am and 4 pm this Monday, June 8, 2020, I will be collecting empty beer, wine, and liquor containers to donate to frontline healthcare workers at Douglas Memorial Hospital via The Beer Store.

Last fall, my wife and I organized a food drive at Sobeys for COPE. In exchange for donating food items, we gave away free The Fort Erie Podcast tee shirts. This spring, I am doing something similar. Make an online donation to Fort Erie Meals on Wheels and receive a free Fort Erie Podcast tee shirt.

I’ve often said that a good realtor should be a good community ambassador. So, starting last July, I made it my mission to get involved in my local community — and I’ve had a blast doing it! Here are some photos from various events this past year.

With 2019 coming to a close and 2020 just around the corner, I thought it might be fun to look back at the 2019 winners of my monthly gift card giveaway.

Today, my wife and I collected four carts full of donations (plus $140 in gift cards) for Community Outreach Program Erie (COPE) by hosting a food drive at the entrance of Sobeys in Fort Erie. Anyone who made a donation was offered a free Fort Erie Podcast tee shirt while supplies lasted.

A team of volunteers, which included me, got together today and raised $208.25 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Niagara by hosting a charity car wash in the RE/MAX Niagara parking lot.

This week, between appointments, I gave away 48 Popsicles and 48 ice cream sandwiches at various locations around Fort Erie. Residents were able to figure out where I would set up shop next by following my Instagram stories. It was a great opportunity to make a few kids smile and to meet their parents at the same time.
