Between 10 am and 4 pm this Saturday, May 6, 2023, I will be collecting non-perishable food items and unopened toiletries to donate to C.O.P.E. (Community Outreach Program Erie), the food bank in Fort Erie.
This collection will follow a similar format to the bottle drive I organized a few years ago. In other words, I’m looking to pack my truck bed and trailer full with curbside pickups!
Here is how to participate:
- Any pickup address within Fort Erie, Ridgeway, Crystal Beach, or Stevensville, is eligible.
- Text your name and pickup address to 905-626-8826. I will text you back with a pickup timeframe (window).
- Items must be placed at the side of the road (curbside), not at the door or in the garage.
- Please put out your donations in a rigid cardboard box (ideally) or a reusable bag. Loose items will not be collected.
If you wish to make a monetary donation to C.O.P.E. instead, please send an e-transfer to donate@buywithbrent.ca. I will pool all donations and use them to purchase one Sobeys gift card.
To further indicate that you will be participating or to show your support, please visit my Facebook page and mark yourself as Interested or Going.
