This week, between appointments, I gave away 48 Popsicles and 48 ice cream sandwiches at various locations around Fort Erie.
Residents were able to figure out where I would set up shop next by following my Instagram stories.
Some people took photos and posted them to social media using hashtag #FEIceCream.

When asked by one Facebook user why I was doing this, I replied:
Excellent question. I’m a firm believer that a good realtor should be a strong community ambassador. I try to get involved in the community as much as I can. For instance, this Sunday I’m hosting a charity car wash in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Handing out free ice cream this week (in between appointments) is a great opportunity for me to meet the parents (publicity) while also doing something nice for the kids of Fort Erie. It’s a publicity stunt, in other words, but something parents and kids alike seem to appreciate thus far. A win-win, in other words. I’ll be heading out again this afternoon. Follow my Instagram or Facebook stories if you want to know where I’ll be. Come say hello, if you’d like!
It was a great opportunity to make a few kids smile and to meet their parents at the same time.
