Each year, I give away hundreds of dollars in gift cards on social media. Typically, I give away no more than one gift card (or gift certificate) in a month, and it will have a value of approx. $50. Most often, it will be redeemable at a local restaurant.
Complete giveaway rules can be found here.
Why give away gift cards, you ask?
Well, as I explained in a previous post, it…
- …supports local businesses.
- …highlights some of what makes our communities great.
- …rewards my followers.
- …allows me to connect with local residents by email.
So, less than two weeks into the new year, I thought it would be fun to look back at all the great local people who won my gift card giveaways in 2022.

Was that all?
It’s probably also worth mentioning that, early in 2022, I also gave away a $3,000 vacation to one lucky winner. But since only existing clients of mine were eligible to enter that giveaway, I decided not to include it in this post.
Will there be new public giveaways in 2023?
Absolutely! Follow me on Instagram or Facebook for new giveaway announcements.
