At the end of last year, I published a year-in-review blog post, covering some of the many highlights of 2020.
Well, I am proud to announce that today — less than halfway through 2021 — I’ve got more to share.
Why?
Well, the results of certain annual awards in real estate often aren’t tabulated or announced until sometime the following year.
So without further ado, I’m proud to share the following:
100% Club (2020)
This is an annual sales achievement recognized by my brokerage, RE/MAX Niagara Realty Ltd., Brokerage.
Although my brokerage announced the winners of this sales achievement earlier this year, it wasn’t until last week that the physical awards were delivered to recipients. In lieu of an awards banquet this year — thanks a lot, Covid! — RE/MAX Niagara sent the plaque pictured below to my home address along with champagne and charcuterie. Classy!
Rookie of the Year (2020)
Although I am entering my third year in real estate, 2020 was technically my first full calendar year in real estate.
This made me eligible to win Rookie of the Year, which is awarded to RE/MAX Niagara’s top “new to business” agent for any given year.
This achievement came with its own trophy that I posted to social media last week.
Sales Achievement Award (February 2021)
In addition to annual awards, RE/MAX Niagara also recognizes top agents on a monthly basis.
So far this year, I was included in this category for the month of February alongside eight other fantastic agents.
Why does any of this matter?
To me, it matters a lot. I love that my brokerage goes out of its way to recognize top performers.
But I also recognize that, in speaking with both buyers and sellers, not everybody feels the same way.
To many, it seems that just about every agent in town has at some point been top-this or top-that for the week, month, or year.
And being a so-called “top producer” does not necessarily mean that agent is the right fit for every buyer or seller.
I post these achievements and milestones to my website to give potential clients a clear sense of what I’m capable of. But before deciding to buy or sell with me, it would be best for us to have a detailed chat about your goals and expectations.
When you’re ready, contact me for a no-obligation consultation. Let’s see if we might be a good fit for each other.
In the meantime, I’d like to thank my colleagues and clients alike for making 2020 such a special year for me…and here’s hoping that 2021 will be even better.
